Role and Responsibilities
As a Network Engineer at Weezie, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of our fiber-optic network infrastructure.

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand network requirements and design solutions.
- Designing, configuring, and maintaining network components to ensure reliability and performance.
- Troubleshooting network issues, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions.
- Monitoring network performance and capacity, implementing upgrades as needed.
- Implementing security measures to protect network systems and data.
- Collaborating with Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists to integrate network data into analytics and prediction models.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in networking technologies.
Who will be a good fit for this role?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with a strong background in network design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in network protocols, routing, and switching technologies.
- Experience with network security and firewall configurations.
- Familiarity with cloud networking and virtualization technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve network issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
